150 years ago (1873) my great-grandfather came to Ginza from Kyoto and established traditional mounting shop (scroll and screen) and my father Yuji ABE changed to art gallery at the recommendation of woodblock artsit Koshiro ONCHI. Yoseido Gallery opened its doors in our Ginza location in 1953.
We greatly appreciate the customers and artists who have supported us over the years. We have started construction of our new building which is due for completion in August 2026. Our gallery has relocated in the meantime to a temporary location just around the corner.
